SERVICES: Sunday, April 14, 2:00 p.m. at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. OFFICIANT: Rev. Danny Bragg & Rev. J.B. Wilson VISITATION: Saturday, April 13th, 4-8 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Ruby M. Cave, 73, of Trafalgar, died at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Ruby was an avid fisherman, enjoyed attending Jewell Village Separate Baptist Church, singing gospel music and liked being with her friends and family. Born in Adair County, Ky., Jan. 22, 1940, Ruby was the daughter of Harlan and Dwade Farmer Mings. She married Frederick L. Cave May 19, 1991. He preceded her in death Dec. 27, 2011. She is survived by sons, Shawn Atwood, Alan (Jackie) Atwood, Larry Atwood, Andrew Cave, Eric Cave, Freddie (Tina) Cave, and Kenny (Rueann) Cave; daughters, Carol Hartwell, Tammy (Gary) Smith, and Donna Bell; a brother, Carl Mings; a sister, Shirley Murphy; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, Russell Mings and Kenneth Mings; and sisters, Helen Bradley and Freda Stotts.
