It won’t be the same without you, Fontella. You are a marvelous person. You and Bishop Fish were my lifeline when I joined the Church. As much as we will miss you, I know that you are having a joyous reunion with your beloved husband.

Fontella was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and she and her husband served a temple mission at the Washington, D.C., Temple from 1986 to 1988. They also served a temple mission in Chicago. She enjoyed painting, sewing, dancing, tap dancing and genealogy research. Fontella also loved spending time with her family. Born in Tunnelton, IN, Oct. 18, 1921, Fontella was the daughter of William Oscar Guthrie and Hattie Mae Bailey Guthrie. She married Theodore O. Fish Nov. 20, 1942. He preceded her in death July 5, 1994. She is survived by sons, Gary (Carolyn) Fish of Dayton, OH, Randy (Marsha) Fish of Columbus, IN, and Rick Fish of Highland, UT; a daughter, Cindy (Bob) Hedger of Columbus, IN; eight grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Carl H. Guthrie; a sister, Jennie Mae Roberts; and a grandson, John Gary Fish.
