James W. Galbraith
James W. "Bill" Galbraith, 91, of Hope, died at 5:23 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Miller's Merry Manor. Mr. Galbraith served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. He lived most of his life in the Lake Worth, FL, area and moved to this area in 2008. Private services will be held at Hawcreek Baptist Cemetery at a later date, following cremation. Born in Indianapolis March 21, 2921, Mr. Galbraith was the son of Cassius Galbraith and Melinda Franklin Galbraith. He married Alys M. Minutilla who preceded him in death Feb. 20, 2011. He is survived by sons, James Galbraith of Rutledge, TN, and Gary Galbraith of Lake Worth, FL; grandchildren, Kimberly (Tim) Dillingham, James (Kim) Curry, Gregg Galbraith, Tammy Galbraith, Siobhan Wilson, Keri Franks and Jack Galbraith; great-grandchildren, Courtney Brock, Emily Dillingham, Troy and Josh Galbraith, Jerome "J.J." Clark, Alex and Taylor Hart; and great-great-grandchildren, Chloie Phelps and Kaydenze Brock. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Curry; a grandson, Tim Curry; four brothers, Ray, Bud, Bob and Donnie Galbraith and two sisters, Evelyn McKim and Mary Lou Drysdale.






May my grandfather rest in peace with his wife and daughter. I have so many found memories of how good of a grandfather you always were! Love you more than words can say.
