VISITATION: 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday October 25, 2012 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. SERVICES: A private memorial service will be held at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in West Friendship, Md. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana, 2626 E. 17th St., Columbus, IN 47201. or Howard County 4-H Foundation, c/o Maryland Cooperative Extension Service, 3300 N Ridge Road, Suite 240, Ellicott City, MD 21043. Erma Lee Booth, 73, passed peacefully on Monday, October 22nd, 2012 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Erma was an avid 4-H volunteer for over 32 years having been a 4-H organization leader of both the Fulton and Glenelg 4-H Clubs, as well as numerous years chairing the 4-H Food Department at the Howard County Fair, judging Montgomery County, Frederick County and Maryland State Fair 4-H entries and a member of the Maryland 4-H All-Stars. She received the Governor of Maryland's Citation for "Outstanding service to the citizens of Maryland" in 2003. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Erma West Boone Sr. and her husband, Robert E. Booth formerly of Mt. Airy, MD.; brother, Benjamin Boone; parents in law, R. Edgar & Janet R. Booth. She is survived by children: Linda (Keith) McDaniel of Columbia, MD, Barbara (Brian) Henney of Elizabethtown, IN.; son, Timothy (Jennifer) Booth of Jefferson, MD; sisters, Elizabeth (Elwood) Rill of Glen Rock, PA, Silvia (Dale) Hoff of Edinburgh,VA, Toni (Randall) Updike of Washington, VA; brother, Bill (Martha) Boone of Lanham, MD; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Dave and Diane Booth of Monkton, MD; grandchildren: Nicole & Eric Reese, Grant, Kyle & Ellen McDaniel, Patricia, Christina & Megan Henney, and Riley & Rebecca Booth.
