"Jerri" Henney, 79, of Elizabethtown, died at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Jerri was previously employed at Cosco, Champas Insurance and ITT Thompson at North Vernon. She was an avid bowler and reader and loved bingo. Born in Indianapolis, April 2, 1933, Jerri was the daughter of Ross Sheets and Sylvia Duncan Sheets. She married Jean Henney Jan. 20, 1951. He preceded her in death June 26, 2005. Surviving are sons, Kevin (Susan) Henney of Columbus, IN, Brian (Barbara) Henney of Elizabethtown, IN, and Scott (Lorie) Henney of Florence, MS; a daughter, Toni (Denis) Wendel of Elizabethtown, IN; a sister, Judi Skinner of Filmore, IN; sisters-in-Law, Jane Sheets of Indianapolis, IN, and Ruth Henney of Columbus, IN; a brother-in-law, Joe Henney of Mobile, Ala.; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Terry G. Henney, who died October 17, 1994; brothers, Jim Sheets and John Sheets; and a sister, Barbara Sheets.
