Robert Allen Blair, 57, of Cave City, Ky., died at 3 a.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2012 in Cave City. He was born in Shelbyville, June 25, 1955, the son of the late William Joseph and Lillie Margaret Morris Blair. He married Sandra Kaye Brown on May 23, 1982, and she survives. Robert did masonry work and enjoyed fishing, camping, watching Star Trek and SciFi. He loved his dog, Daisy. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Greg Allman of Columbus, William (Courtney) Blair of Ft. Campbell, Ky., and Gary Blair of Ft. Benning, Ga.; daughters, Christina Phillips of Columbus, Carrie (Chuck) Bennett of Edinburgh, Jessica (Bobby) Lucas of Columbus, and Ruby Blair of Cave City; brothers, Daniel J. (Ilene) Blair of Columbus and Charles Blair of Spring Hill, Tenn.; sisters, Connie Jones of Pensacola, Fla, Darlene (Adrian) Jenkins of Columbus, Teresa Taylor of Columbus, Donita (Philip) Eubanks of Columbus and Billie (Keith) Ebenkamp of Columbus; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
