SERVICES: 1:00 p.m. Monday August 27, 2012 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home VISITATION: 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home INURNMENT: A private family inurnment will take place at a later date Kenneth "Michael" Hennsley, 62, of Seymour, died at 3:51 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2012 at his home. He was born in Columbus, March 15, 1950, the son of Kenneth Leon (Margaret) Hennsley of Columbus. He married Sharon Kindred on June 6, 1998, and she survives. Michael graduated from Columbus North High School. He retired in 1995 from the Air Force after 25 years of service. Michael served three tours in Vietnam and last, he served in Desert Storm Michael was a gunsmith, loved hunting and fishing and was a member of the NRA. In addition to his wife, of Seymour, he is survived by his sons, Scott Michael (Aleisha) Hennsley of Columbus, and Christopher Michael (Christy) Hennsley of Lubbock, Texas; a daughter, Jennifer Rebecca (Jay) LaBouve of Georgia; stepsons, Buford "Pete" (Donetta) Burton Jr. of Hope, and Randy (Shannon) Burton of Edinburgh; step-brothers, Randy Riddle and Allan Cox; a step-sister, Michelle Gordon; grandchildren, Jordan LaBouve, Jessica LaBouve, C.J. LaBouve, Tiffany Hennsley, Tyler Hennsley, and Austin Hennsley; step-grandchildren, P.J. Burton, Jessica Burton, Jami Burton, Toby Burton, Logan Burton, Dalton Burton, Jordan Burton, Christopher Burton and Paige Burton; a great-granddaughter, Jaelynn Pittman; and a sister, Iris Lynn (Larry) Shutters of Columbus. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Toby Ray Burton; a step-brother, Kevin Cox; and a step-granddaughter, Natasha Kay Burton.
