  1. You will be sorely missed. I wish you had gotten the chance to meet Peyton I know you would have loved her as well as she would have loved you.

  2. I LOVE YOU PAPAW!!!! I miss you so much, but I know your in a better place singing and playing your guitar as you always liked to do. I wasn’t ready to let go but you are my Guardian Angel and there will be a time when we meet again. This isnt good bye, it’s See ya later. Love and Miss you terribly everyday.

  3. So sorry to hear of the passing of Arlis. I only knew Arlis (and also Aneita) from playing music at Joe’s Pizza, and other bluegrass festivals a few years ago, but know he was truely a great Family Oriented and Christian man, as well as a great musician, whom loved to sing for the lord. Arlis will be sadly missed by all who knew him!

  4. My deepest sympathy for the loss of your beloved father, husband, papaw. May the comfort of knowing he is with our Lord help you during this sorrowful time.

  5. I love you and will miss you Uncle Arlis. Heaven has gained another talented Angel for their choir!!! I am thinking of you and your family and praying that god put’s his arms around them and somehow comforts them. You will never be forgotten but always in my heart!!!!

  6. We are so sorry for your loss. Arlis is now up in heaven singing with the angels. The whole fields family is in our thoughts and prayers durung this difficult time!!

  7. Happy Thanksgiving Dad. It sure won’t be the same this year without your entertainment.Love you

  8. It’s been almost 3 years since you went home to be with the Lord but it feels like yesterday. I miss you more everyday. I miss your smile, your voice. What I wouldn’t give to talk to you again. I don’t play our music anymore, it’s not the same without you. I love you daddy and I wish that I had told you more often.
