Nancy, my heart goes out to you. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this time of loss. Your mother has left such a wonderful legacy in children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. What a blessing and wonderful example she was.
My dear sweet Grandmother, To say you will be missed is SO understated. There are no adequate words for that part. What a privilege it is to be your granddaughter! You truly lived out your faith in our Lord Jesus Christ to me and everyone who knew you, ALWAYS!!! Your smile and laugh and the way you said “yes dear” is what I will miss the most! So many wonderful memories I have with you! How happy in heaven you are right now…Hug Grandfather, Aunt Mary, and my brother Scottie for me! I LOVE YOU! Your First Granddaughter, Elaine
Dear Grandmother, oh how I love you and will miss you so much. I am so greteful to have been able to spend time with you and have my children know you so well. Thank you for all the wonderful memories I have of you and all the wonderful Godly things you taught me. Your legacy you leave behind is great and I hope that the legacy I leave someday will be at least half of what yours has been. You will always be my hero. Life will not be the same without you. I will miss all the lovely cards and letters you sent, but I will treasure them. Thank you for always being there for me. I love you and you will forever be in my heart. You truly blessed me and my family. Love, Angie
I met Mary at the ladies luncheons at the Berean Bible Church in 2007 and continue to attend them until August, 2009, when I got remarried and moved to Michigan. She was always so cheery and had a Bible quiz for us. God bless her memory.
Grandmother, thank you for giving us so many years of your unconditional love. I love you…I love you. Everyone who knew you felt your warmth and good heart. All the visits after church..all the special moments and letters. I will see you again one day.For that I can rest and hope. When I pray now I imagine you there with God and I’ll be talking to the both of you. You will always be the closest to the Proverbs 31 woman in my mind. Thank you for being mine.
Grandmother was a lovely lady. She made a lot of people happy. Now she will be at peace with her Lord and have no more sickness. Our family loves you Grandmother.
Mary will be missed by many. She was always sweet to me growing up. I have good memories being in her home.
I am so sorry to learn of Mary’s passing. I had so hoped for the opportunity to meet her in person, plans made but life seemed to always get in the way, so much time elapsing before you realize it. I did enjoy our few conversations, and will forever be thankful to her for sharing with me some of her knowledge about my Grandpa Sam. Although I didn’t get to know Mary personally I did consider her my Step Grandmother… and I thought of her often. My deepest condolences to all of you, she was a very special woman. I apologize for not sending flowers and sending my condolences sooner, however I just learned of her passing.
