Marion R. Settles, 75, of Eighth Street, died at 11 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mr. Settles is survived by sisters, Mary Helen Phillips of Columbus, Ruth Virginia (Herschel) Doles of Florida, Alice Emajean Purtlebaugh of Columbus, Emily Ann Mabe of Columbus and Barbara Jane VanZandt of Tucson, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence White Settles. SERVICES: A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 in the Christus Section of Garland Brook Cemetery.
