Sherman Andrew Larrison Sr., 69, of Fairlawn Drive, died at 6:02 a.m. Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mr. Larrison retired as a driver for Consolidated Freightways and previously worked at Cummins Engine Company. He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS O'Hare during the Cuban Missile crisis. He loved fishing, riding his motorcycle, NASCAR and IU basketball.. Born in Columbus April 25, 1942, Mr. Larrison was the son of Ralph Harley Larrison and Edythe Lucille Sutton Larrison. He married Joyce Fox Feb. 1, 1964. She survives. Also surviving are sons, Scott (Nikki) Larrison of Seymour, IN, Tim (Arin) Larrison of Brown County, IN, Andy (Crystal) Larrison of Columbus, IN, and Nathan (Stacie) Larrison of Columbus, IN; a daughter, Wendy (Angelo) Dattilo of Carmel, IN; a sister, Lindall Robinson of North Vernon, IN; and 10 grandchildren, Cody Larrison, Hunter Larrison, Ethan McCoy, Eric McCoy, Kylee Larrison, Nathan Giles, Kirstee Larrison, Brendan Larrison, Caleb Larrison and Elliott Larrison. He was preceded in death by his parents. SERVICE: 10:00 a.m. Thursday March 8, 2012 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home VISITATION: Wednesday 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. FINAL RESTING PLACE: Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: Hospice of South Central Indiana, Christian Motorcycle Association or Foundation for Youth
