Roger Dale Adams, 65, of Trafalgar, died at 3:16 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012. Born in Viper, Ky., June 4, 1946, Mr. Adams was the son of Shirdin and Vada Campbell Adams. He is survived by a daughter, Tori Adams, Trafalgar, IN; brothers, Hiram "H.C." (Maude) Adams, Columbus, IN, Wallace (Jeanette) Adams, Trafalgar, IN, Jim (Joyce) Adams, Columbus, IN, and David Adams, Edinburgh, IN; sisters, Ila Hounshell, Columbus, IN, Hila (Mike) Illing, Dillsboro, IN, Anna Mae Zieleniuk, Columbus, IN, Emily Hampton, Columbus, IN, and Linda (Sonny) Brown, Edinburgh, IN; and grandchildren, Kylie Burris and Kamdyn Burris. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Finley and Chester Adams; and sisters, Carol Duncan and Sarah Bennett. Roger loved fishing, football, bowling and living life. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and had been employed as a brick mason. Roger was a great father, loving his children and grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice of charities. FUNERAL SERVICES: 6 p.m. Saturday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Poynter and Ronnie Hampton officiating. VISITATION: 4 p.m. until service time Saturday. BURIAL: Old Union Cemetery.
