Donald Wayne Roupp, 62, of Milmar Court, died at 8:43 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mr. Roupp retired from Cummins Engine Company. He was a 1968 graduate of Edinburgh High School, loved camping, hunting and fishing and was a member of Sons of the American Legion where he enjoyed spending time with his many friends. Born in Columbus Dec 3, 1949, Mr. Roupp was the son of Robert and Margaret King Roupp. He is survived by his mother, of Shelbyville; a son, Jason (Ellen) Roupp of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughters, Lisa (Ian) Richardson of Clinton, UT, and Amy (Brian) Gooden of Waukee, Iowa; grandchildren, Jazmine Lopez, Tessa Smith, Ryan Richardson, Cyndee Dodd, Chris Roupp, Jonathan Roupp, Ayla Gooden, Katya Gooden and Alik Gooden; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ruth (Bob) Belles of Shelbyville and Jayne (David) Bray of Greencastle. SERVICES: FUNERAL: Will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Wes Jones officiating. VISITATION: Will be from noon until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: May be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. We learned to know Don through camping and he has been such a good friend and neighbor there. He will be missed.
