Robert Holt Sr., 81, of Elizabethtown, died at 7:30 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2011 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Columbus. He was born in Miland, August 4, 1930, the son of Roy and Flonnie Godbey Holt. Robert was a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as spending time in the outdoors. Robert loved spending time with his family. He is survived by sons, Robert Holt Jr. of Columbus, Harold Holt of Elizabethtown, Mark (Bonita) Holt of North Vernon and Larry Holt of North Vernon; grandchildren, Christina, Stacey, Charles and Michael; great-grandchildren, Cinthia, Christian and Trinity; a brother, Russell Holt; and sisters, Gladys, Ruby, Pauline and Eva. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Raymond Holt. SERVICES: FUNERAL: Will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Marty Wright officiating. VISITATION: Will be from 9 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home. BURIAL: Will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
