Linda, Jim, Rob, Mark and Nicole,
I am so very sorry. Mr. Bother was a wonderful man. I have such fond memories of living next door, softball and Mr. Booner playing basketball at Concord. My thoughts are with you.
-
I first met Dick when I started at Lilly in 1965. We worked in the same department and on many projects together. We shared many lunches and breaks together at Lilly. We even played basketball together. After Dick told me about his family trip to Okracoke, NC, I took my family there. It was one of our best vacations. Dick was a good friend, a great chemist and a pleasure to know.
-
I worked with Dick for a number of years. The interactions that we had were always positive. He made a great contribution to Lilly.
He also played basketball with a group of us at Lilly and was a great competitor.
May the family find peace at this time.Jon Paschal

Jim, Bob and all the Booher family – I was shocked to see the Indianapolis paper and read of your father’s passing. I can still see your father at cross country meets, cheering us all on. I remember him has a quiet man, but very proud of his son’s that did so well on the cross country course.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
