William "Mike" Morris, 64, of Meridian Street, died at 11:03 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mike was a retired plumber. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed restoring model cars. Born July 8, 1947, in Franklin, Mr. Morris was the son of Leland R. Morris and Elizabeth Williams Morris . He is survived by his mother, of Columbus; daughters, Erin (Ed) Engelau, Columbus, IN, and Andrea Morris, Columbus, IN; sons, Adam Morris, Orlando, FL, and Richard Michael (Crystal) Morris, Bargersville, IN; his companion, Linda Morris, Columbus, IN; a sister, Sandra (Phillip) Voss, Columbus, IN; a stepbrother, Robert Eugene Morris, Jackson, GA; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter, Shannon Morris. SERVICES: A private family service and burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

my prayers are with Bill and his family.. He was a good man.
Our lives our formed by our loved ones, by all the wonderful memories that we have. God entrusted us for a short period of time with our loved ones and now they have returned to Him. I pray for comfort & peace for the entire family.
Mike was a wonderful man. I’m glad to have known him, I’m just sorry I hadn’t seen him in so long. He will be sorely missed.
