Mary E. Beaman, 98, of Central Avenue, died Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at her home. In keeping with Mrs. Beaman's request, there will be no services. Cremation is planned. Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include daughters, Kaye E. Shera and Jean Ann Barnett, both of Columbus; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin A. Beaman.
