William E. Cain August 27, 1972 - February 26, 2011 William E. Cain, 38, of Westport, died at 8:37 p.m., Saturday, February 26, 2011, at Indiana University Medical Center. He was born in Indianapolis, August 27, 1972, the son of David and Patricia Whitacre Cain. He married Mistie Askren November 19, 1999. William fought Cystic Fibrosis throughout his entire life. While going through his battle, he accomplished many things. He was employed at Delta Faucet until 2008. He continued on to graduate with Honors from Ivy Tech College with a degree in Business Management. William raised a family and was a huge Colts fan. Every year, he took his daughter Kaitlyn to Colts Training Camp. He also loved his dog, Herkulez. Along with his wife and parents, he is survived by a daughter, Kaitlyn Dawn Cain of Westport; grandparents, Elizabeth Walker of Greensburg and Laverne Wilson of Columbus; brothers, Shane (Angie) Jackson and Jonathan (Tara) Cain, both of Greensburg; and a sister, Jody Meyers of Albany, Ky; William is also survived by 3 nieces & 7 nephews. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Will be conducted at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Poynter officiating. William E. Cain, 38, of Westport, died at 8:37 p.m., Saturday, February 26, 2011, at Indiana University Medical Center.
