Mrs. Irene Western February 05, 2011 Irene Western, 86, of Rosemary Road, died at 9:55 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2011 in Columbus. She was born in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, June 17, 1924, the daughter of Walter and Nancy Gulley Hatcher. She married Carl Western. Irene loved being a homemaker and babysitting children. She was a Christian and believed in God. She is survived by a son, William Western of Columbus; a daughter, Delma Olds of Columbus; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Della Drake of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on July 21, 2001; two sons, Carl Wayne Western and Larry Dean Western; two sisters and three brothers. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Virgil Clotfelter officiating.
