Marvin B. Anderson March 01, 1943 - November 27, 2010 Marvin B. Anderson, 67, of 7th Street, died at 2:20 a.m., Saturday, November 27, 2010, at his home. He was born in Park City, Ken., March 1, 1943, the son of Charlie L. and Bessie Piper Anderson. He married Karen F. Gater Aug. 6, 1965 in Salem. Marvin was an Air Force veteran. He retired from Cummins Engine Company after 30 plus years of service. He was a member of East Columbus Christian Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife; daughters, Lora (Steve) Fields, of Columbus and Pamela (Clyde) Whitehead, of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Ashley and Cody Whitehead, Tyler, Mark, Stephanie and Steve Fields and Billie Tedrow; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Henry L. (Carolyn) Anderson, of Henryville and Ronnie (Betsy) Anderson and Donnie Anderson, both of Memphis, Ind.; sisters, Ada Goode and Connie (Bill) Mosley, both of Memphis, Ind. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Tim Anderson. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Bridgewater officiating. VISITATION: 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. BURIAL: Garland Brook Cemetery with full military rites by the Bartholomew County Veterans Color Guard.
