Mary Margaret Hedger March 13, 1923 - October 06, 2010 Mary Margaret Hedger, 87, of Diane Drive South, died at 2:25 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at Willow Crossing Health & Rehabilitation Center. When Mary was younger, she was employed at Reliance Shirt Factory. She was a wonderful seamstress, a devoted mother and grandmother. During World War II, she enlisted in the Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service (WAVES), which was a division of the Navy, where she worked as a weather woman. Born in Columbus March 13, 1923, Mary was the daughter of Robert Crawford Lockherd and Louththia Partlow Lockherd. She married Raymond Donald Hedger who preceded her in death in August 1991. She is survived by daughters, Pat Engle of Seymour and Connie Greathouse of Norman; grandchildren, Teresa Roland, Jill Greathouse, Patrick (Amy) Jackson, Tammy Smith, Amy Redlin and Sally (Chris) LeBrun; 15 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a great-grandchild; brothers James, Bill and Ike Lockherd and three stillborn brothers; and sisters Eliza Garrison Lizzie Garrison. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Friday, October 8, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris LeBrun officiating. CALLING: noon until service time Friday.
