Donna Sue Burbrink March 29, 1938 - June 07, 2010 Donna Sue Burbrink, 72, of Sandy Hook Drive, died at 8:10 p.m. Monday, June 7, 2010, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mrs. Burbrink was involved in many functions at St. Peters Lutheran Church where she was a member, including Christian Service Guild, the Small Group Bible Study, and Tabitha Guild. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and a life member of Beta Sigma Phi (Yellow Rose). She enjoyed bowling and competed in national tournaments, had been a leader for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, and was a very active grandmother, attending many activities involving her grandchildren. Born in Columbus, March 29, 1938, Mrs. Burbrink was the daughter of Donald J. and Annabelle Cooper Hollenbeck. She married Lester E. Burbrink October 5, 1958. Survivors include her husband; a son, Jeff E. (Jessica) Burbrink of Goshen; a daughter, Kim S. (Mike) Pomerenke of Columbus; grandchildren, Philip M. Burbrink of Hobart, Jeremy B. Burbrink of Goshen, Jocelyn C. (JC) Burbrink of Goshen, Janelle A. Burbrink of Goshen, Kyle J. Pomerenke of Carmel, and Alan M. Pomerenke of Carmel; and a sister, Bonnie K. (Michael) Biddle of Clinton, CT. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Peters Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Teike officiating. CALLING: 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and at the church from 12:30 p.m. until service time Friday. A Beta Sigma Phi service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. BURIAL: Garland Brook Cemetery.
