Jerry Robert Donhost January 08, 1941 - April 17, 2010 Jerry Robert Donhost, 69, of Columbus, Indiana, died at 1:30 a.m., April 17, 2010, at Columbus Regional Hospital. He was a 1959 graduate of Columbus High School, Columbus, Indiana. He owned and operated Donhost Appliance Service for many years in the Columbus area. Prior to that, he was a route driver for Wonder Bread. While in High School, he was employed at Zaharakos. He was a 4 year veteran of the US Air Force and served at Clinton-Sherman Air Force Base, Oklahoma. Mr. Donhost was born on January 8, 1941, in Columbus, Indiana. He was the son of Robert Wilson and Marjorie Laverne Donhost. Survivors include his mother, two sisters, Linda L. Leonard and Marilyn Sue (Barry) Reuteman, both of Columbus, two sons, Gary and Michael, several cousins, one nephew and 3 nieces and 3 grandsons. He was preceded in death by his father on July 15, 1992. Cremation is planned. He left behind a close friend, Sylvia Worton, and his pride and joy, his cat, Buddy. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him. Funeral Information SERVICES: A Memorial service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday April 20, 2010 at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
