Jackie Gilbert Dutro April 10, 1946 - September 29, 2009 Jackie Gilbert Dutro, 63, of Jerseyville, Ill., died at 10:21 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at his home. Mr. Dutro previously lived and was employed in Grafton, Ill., before moving to Jerseyville where he co-owned Poor Mans Art Gallery. He enjoyed music, old Westerns, dressing up in his Western outfit and American History, particularly Civil War memorabilia. He also enjoyed riding horses and his motorcycle. Born in Bartholomew County April 10, 1946, Mr. Dutro was the son of Leonard D. and Goldie F. Pittman Dutro. He is survived by a daughter, Rachel Mayers of Indiana; five grandchildren; a brother, Danny D. Dutro of Columbus; a sister, Tyra Cataline of Columbus; and nieces and nephews, Kristina (Richard) Henry, Tina (John) Simon, Danny F. (Linda) Dutro and Sarah Cataline. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Bonnie K. Dutro. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2009, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Rowe officiating. VISITATION: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2009 at the funeral home. BURIAL: Daugherty Cemetery.
