Nancy L. Behrman June 07, 1928 - August 27, 2009 Nancy L. Behrman, 81, of Westport died at 2:10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mrs. Behrman delivered flowers for Flowers from the Woods for 23 years and was known as the Singing Flower Lady. She was a member of Sardinia Baptist Church, a former member of Bethel Baptist Church at Walesboro and also attended the Della J. Hamilton Praise Ministry. She was a longtime member, past worthy matron and past grand representative of Order of the Eastern Star and was a passionate salesperson during the Eastern Star nut sales. She also was a member of Business & Professional Women, Westport Senior Citizens Group and Psi Iota Xi Sorority. Born in DeKalb, Ill., June 7, 1928, Mrs. Behrman was the daughter of Henry and Verda Moore and was later adopted by Asa and Eva Boyd. She married Lester K. Behrman June 25, 1949. Survivors include her husband; a son, Eric (Marilyn) Behrman of Bloomington; daughters, Resa (Don Rudy) Rudolph of Seymour and Kyra Behrman of Scottsdale, Ariz.; grandchildren, Brian (Diane) Behrman and Andrea Rudolph; stepgrandchildren, Damita Rudolph and Denisa Rudolph; a great-grandchild, Lainey Jillian Behrman; and a stepgreat-grandchild, Kaycee Tellas. She was preceded in death by both sets of parents; a grandchild, Jill Behrman; a stepgreat-grandchild, Ashley Freyn; and brothers, Wetzel Moore and Clinton John Moore. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2009 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Rust, Della J. Hamilton and the Rev. Tom Long officiating. VISITATION: 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday. An Eastern Star Memorial Service will be conducted at 5:30 P.M..
