Marge Hedrick, 78, of Elizabethtown died at 4:35 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2009, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mrs. Hedrick enjoyed fishing, traveling and her grandchildren. Born in Decatur County March 5, 1931, Mrs. Hedrick was the daughter of Curtis and Ada Martin Schwind. She married Paul E. Hedrick April 3, 1948. He preceded her in death March 1, 2001. Mrs. Hedrick is survived by a son, Daniel E. (Kim) Hedrick of Columbus; daughters, Paula Ann Hedrick of Elizabethtown, Cindy Kent of Elizabethtown and Cheryl Newland of Columbus; grandchildren, Debra R. Fultz of Seymour, Natalie R. Brock of Elizabethtown, Stacie L. Melcher of Sunman, Lori Ann Wiltsey of Columbus, Traci L. Roe of Columbus, Jerry Paul Newland of Columbus, Jerika Salsman of Columbus, David Paul Hedrick of Columbus, Mark Allen Newland of Kendallville and Monica DeWitt of Columbus; and 23 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a granddaughter, Jessica Newland; a brother, Robert L. Schwind; and a sister, Fran L. Pittman. Funeral Information Visitation: Calling will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2009 and from noon until service time Monday at Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home. FUNERAL: The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2009 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. David R. Lehman officiating.
