Linda Barnsfather July 23, 2009 Linda Sue Barnsfather, 59, of Rockwood Street died at 3:27 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2009, at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis. Mrs. Barnsfather worked at Benzol Cleaners for more than 20 years and also at Tuchman Cleaners in Indianapolis, where she was manager. She loved fishing, especially for salmon. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends doing Girls Day Out Shopping. Mrs. Barnsfather enjoyed family gatherings, loved spending time with her grandkids and enjoyed getting manicures and pedicures with her granddaughter. She also enjoyed watching her grandson play sports. She attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Elizabethtown. Born in Columbia, Ky., Oct. 13, 1949, Mrs. Barnsfather was the daughter of William P. and Wilma Burton Combest. She married Winfred Putt Barnsfather May 6, 1967. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Tina (John) Stephens of Elizabethtown; her father, of Edinburgh; brothers, Jackie (Jerry) Combest and Billy Joe (Barbara) Combest, both of Columbus; sisters, Diane (Dale) Shuffitt and Paula (Dale) Hayford, both of Columbus, and Sheila (Mike) Bowling of Brown County; and grandchildren, Courtney Stephens and John John Boy Stephens, both of Elizabethtown. She was preceded in death by her mother. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. John Ruland officiating. CALLING: Will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday. BURIAL: Will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
