Born in Bartholomew County Jan. 31, 1931, Mrs. Shinn was the daughter of Donald P. and Dorothy Lee Mahorney Shinn. She is survived by cousins, John Shinn of Marion, Phyllis Knost of Marion, William Shinn of Fort Wayne, Karl Emerson of Tucson, Ariz., Robert Shinn of Olmstead, Ohio, Juilliane McNeer of Huntington, W.Va., Charles Becker III of Cary, Ill., and Tom C. Becker of Northbrook, Ill.; and an aunt, Margaret June Mahorney Becker of Zionsville.
