Born in Columbus July 30, 1958, Mrs. Mings was the daughter of John Clifford Gilbert and Dorothy Elizabeth Gilbert. She is survived by her mother, of Columbus; a son, Christopher (Heather) Mings of Edinburgh; a daughter, Jessica Dawn Mings of Columbus; brothers, Johnnie Gilbert of North Vernon, Carvel Gilbert of Columbus and Gene Devaul of Columbus; sisters, Rhonda Monroe and Melody Hoover, both of Columbus, and Lenora Ball of Seymour; and grandchildren, Chanceon Alexander Mings and Moana Jade Roberts. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral Information VISITATION: Sunday, July 5, 2009 from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home and also Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
