Mrs. Benzing was a retired school teacher. Born in Newport, Ky., March 31, 1917, Mrs. Benzing was the daughter of John A. and Ellen Wilson Buegel. She married William E. Benzing Sept. 28, 1939. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Linda (Ted) Meier of Columbus; grandchildren, Dawn (Brad) Meadows, Staci (Chris) Selking and Scott Meier; and great-grandchildren, Ashlynn and Zachary Meadows, Nathan and Alayne Davis and Brody Selking.
