Betty Katheryn Kannady September 24, 1931 - March 15, 2009 Betty Katheryn Kannady, 77, of Midway Street died at 3:55 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2009, at Columbus Health & Rehabilitation Center. A registered dietician, she had worked at Four Seasons Retirement Center and retired as food service director at Community Care Center. She was a member of Community Church of Columbus, enjoyed working in her yard, baby-sitting and spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born in Franklin Sept. 24, 1931, Mrs. Kannady was the daughter of George G. and Pansy Watson Miller. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Darlene Bowling of Columbus; her companion, Max Brown of Columbus; sisters, Marcia Sebastian of Columbus and Marjorie (William) Cox of Franklin; grandchildren, Tim Cox, William Cox, Brenda Renner and Beth Steinkoenig; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles, George, Henry, Harry and Paul Miller; sisters, Lucille Miller, Margaret Cox, Wanda Shroyer and Mary Holland; and a son-in-law, Rodney Bowling. Funeral Information VISITATION: Tuesday, March 17, 2009 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home and also from noon until service time Wednesday. FUNERAL: Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Coleman officiating.
