Glen J. Ault June 06, 1934 - January 29, 2009 Glen J. Ault, 74, of Riverside Court died at 6:25 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Born June 6, 1934 in Bartholomew County, Mr. Ault was the son of Roy A. and Lizzie Guthrie Ault. He married Carletta Emmert Dec. 18, 1953, she survives. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1957 until 1958. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Mr. Ault retired from Cummins Engine Co. in 1996. After his retirement he worked part-time at Brands Lumber. He retired as a Command Sergeant Major from the Indiana National Guard after 30 plus years. He received many medals, including the Army Commendation Medal. He was recalled in 1991 during Desert Storm to be Family Service Coordinator at Camp Atterbury. Mr. Ault was a member of the Edinburgh American Legion, Edinburgh Masonic Lodge #100, Indianapolis Scottish Rite, Murat Temple, Bartholomew County Shrine Club and the Hoosier Mustang Club. His hobbies included woodworking, motorcycles and he was a classic car enthusiast. Survivors icnlude his wife; a daughter, Cynthia Foley of Columbus; a brother, Earl (Anna) Ault of Columbus; grandchidlren, Melodi (Michael) Davis of Columbus, Christopher Ault of Greenwood, Shayne Ault of Tennessee and Matthew, Scott and Cathryn Ault, all of California and three great-granddaughters.. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, G. Douglas Ault and sisters, Betty Ault and Mae Barriger. Funeral Information VISITATION: Sunday, February 1, 2009 from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home and also Monday, February 2, 2009 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. FUNERAL: 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 2, 2009 at Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home. BURIAL: Garland Brook Cemetery with military rites.
