James David Bray

James David Bray August 14, 1956 - December 02, 2008 James David Bray, 52, of Columbus died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, at his home. Mr. Bray retired from Columbus City Utilities where he worked 30 years. He was a member of Revealing Light Baptist Church in Edinburgh and enjoyed restoring his 1969 Chevy Chevelle and working on computers. Born in Russell Springs Aug. 14, 1956, Mr. Bray was the son of Delmer and Sallie Ann Harmon Bray. He is survived by his mother, of Russell Springs; sons, Justin and Daniel Bray, both of Columbus; brothers, J.R. (Alma) Walls of Columbus and Kenny (Carolyn) Bray of Russell Springs; and sisters, Margaret (Ruel) Oaks, Shirley (Jimmy) Henson and Annie (Larry) Bennett, all of Russell Springs, and Mable (Jim) Walsh of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Betty Bray. Funeral Information VISITATION: Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home. FUNERAL: The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Central Time Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Russell Springs, Ky., with Pastor Willie Davenport officiating.
