Dale Michael Idlewine January 15, 1957 - October 19, 2008 Dale Michael Idlewine, 51, of Aspen Court died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon. Mr. Idlewine was a graduate of Columbus East High School, was employed by CCG and formerly worked in maintenance at Otter Creek Golf Course for 10 years. He loved riding his motorcycle, fishing and working on cars. He was a great Dad and a great Pa. Born in Greensburg Jan. 15, 1957, Mr. Idlewine was the son of Francis Idlewine of Greensburg and Virginia Bundren Idlewine Houser of Elizabethtown. Other survivors include his stepfather, Charles Houser of Elizabethtown; his stepmother, Louise Idlewine of Greensburg; a son, Adam (Merritt) Idlewine of Columbus; daughters, Leslie (Josh) Wallen and Shelby Spears, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Madisen, Jonathan, Bradly and Lexi Wallen; brothers, Mark Todd (Kelly) Idlewine of Ninevah and Edward Garrison of North Vernon; and sisters, Cathy (Dave) Summa of Michigan and Debbie (George) Zimmerman and Julie Grant, both of Elizabethtown. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Idlewine; and a stepfather, Charles Grant in 1987. Funeral Information MEMORIAL SERVICE: 3 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Don Byrnes and Rev. Chip Bullock officiating.
