Jo Anne Tully January 11, 1930 - September 16, 2008 Jo Anne Tully, 78, of Jolinda Drive died at 5:55 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mrs. Tully was a former member, choir director, Sunday school teacher and childrens Sunday school superintendent at Chalmers Community Church. She was a member of East Columbus United Methodist Church and a member, former officer and Grand President of Kappa Kappa Sigma sorority. She was a member of and performed with the Purdue University Home Extension Chorus. She loved singing and playing the piano and enjoyed collecting antiques, attending Christian Womens Club, sewing and gardening. She was an avid Purdue University sports fan. Born in Lafayette Jan. 11, 1930, Mrs. Tully was the daughter of Charles Kelley Younger and Mary Rachel Vanderbilt. She married John R. Tully May 29, 1948. Survivors include her husband; a son, John Jack (Patricia) Tully of Lafayette; a daughter, Jill Anne (David) Friedersdorf of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Kristina (Mike) Conrad, Kimberly (Brian) Shewmaker, Kelley (Jeremy) Wright, Karah Friedersdorf, Amber Tully, Trisha (Eric) Morehouse and James (Michelle) Tully; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son and her parents. Funeral Information VISITATION: Thursday, September 18, 2008 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home and also Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
