Robert Paul Rutan November 25, 1923 - July 09, 2008 Robert Paul Rutan, 84, of Columbus, died at 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Willow Crossing Health & Rehabilitation. Mr. Rutan retired from Cosco in 1985 after 36 years of service. He was a member of Carpenters Union #1155. Survivors include a son, Paul David Rutan of Columbus; daughters, Susan Hill of Waynesville, MO and Deanna (Bill) Hurd of Greenwood; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vona Whittenberg Rutan; and his parents, Walter and Mary Elizabeth Roberts Rutan; three brothers; and six sisters. Funeral Information VISITATION: Friday, July 11, 2008 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home and also Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
