Elsie Ann Philyaw January 20, 1925 - April 04, 2008 Elsie Ann Philyaw, 83, of Scottsburg died at 7:03 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2008, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville. Mrs. Philyaw is survived by a son, John "J.P." (Nancy) Philyaw of Scottsburg; a daughter, Gail (Paul) Jaggers of Columbus; a sister, Fannie Downing of Scottsburg; 12 grandchildren; and 32 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Leroy Philyaw; sons, Alan Russell Philyaw and Barry Leroy Philyaw; and a daughter, Debbie Pearl Philyaw. Funeral Information VISITATION: Wednesday; April 9, 2008 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home and also Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. FUNERAL: Thursday; April 10, 2008 at Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Elder Gary Ponder officiating. BURIAL: Highland Memorial Gardens in Mt. Washington, Kentucky.
