Elizabeth Trotta May 11, 1912 - February 23, 2008 Elizabeth Trotta, 95, of Pine Ridge Drive, Columbus, Ind., died at 5:00 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2008, in Columbus. Elizabeth was a devoted housewife and mother. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. She and her husband moved from Downers Grover, Illinois to Columbus, Indiana in 1978. Mrs. Trotta was born May 11, 1912, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Moscata) DAmbrosio. She married Michael Trotta April 26, 1930. Survivors include a son, Paul M. (Marilyn) Trotta of Columbus, Ind.; a daughter, Carole A. (Joseph) Fisher of Downers Grove, Ill.; a sister, Theresa Fortino of West Chicago, Ill.; grandchildren, Michael (Becky) Trotta of Indianapolis, Ind., Martha (James) McGillivray of Bloomington, Ind.; Sarah (John Reed) Trotta of Indianapolis, Ind., Paul (Lori) Trotta Jr. of Columbus, Ind., Elizabeth (Frank) Muelhausen of Palm Coast, Fla. and Michael (Sue) Fisher, Julie (Larry) McFarlan, and Cynthia (Mark) Porcaro, all of Downers Grove, Ill.; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Trotta was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a great-grandchild; and brothers, Richard, Jack, James, Frank and Anthony DAmbrosio. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Will be conducted Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Clem Davis officiating. VISITATION: Will be Tuesday, February 26, 2008, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with a Rosary service being conducted at 7:30 p.m. Calling will also be on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
