Robert G. Gribbins March 30, 1937 - February 09, 2008 Robert G. Gribbins, 70, of 10th Street, Columbus, Ind. died Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 5:35 a.m. at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mr. Gribbins retired from Cummins Engine Company and loved gardening. Mr. Gribbins was a member of Hawcreek Missionary Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Gribbins was born March 30, 1937 in Lebanon, Ky., the son of Charles and Mattie Coulter Gribbins. He married Phyllis J. Noel on April 20, 1968. Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert G. Gribbins Jr. of Columbus, Ind.; a daughter, Barbara J. Berry of Columbus, Ind.; a grandson, Hunter Senn of Columbus, Ind.; a brother, William Gribbins of Springfield, Ky.; and sisters, Evelyn Jaggers, Catherine Jaggers, & Irene Caffee, all of Columbus, Ind. Mr. Gribbins was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John Thomas Gribbins; and sisters, Martha Barlow, Rosie Hiatt, Dorothy Fields and Lucy Gribbins. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Will be conducted Monday, February 11, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. CALLING: Will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
