Norman Henry Bogie July 26, 1926 - January 27, 2008 Norman H. Bogie, 81, of Bloomington, Indian passed away Sunday January 27, 2008 at Brown County Health & Living Community in Nashville, Indiana. Mr. Bogie received a BA from Franklin College in 1950. During his early life, Mr. Bogie worked for Cosco. He then was employed by Cummins Engine Company as a Quality Engineer and a Manufacturing Representative for Mitchell Scott. He was a big NASCAR fan and enjoyed boating and fishing. Mr. Bogie was born July 26, 1926 in Columbus, Indiana; the son of Henry & Louise Tobrock Bogie. He married Mary Russ in December 1973. Mr. Bogie was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in Europe during World War II. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jane (Cliff) Cochran of North Myrtle Beach, SC; a stepson, Mark (Karen) Stines of Brown County, IN; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Stines of Bloomington, IN; 7 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Will be Thursday January 31, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Barbara Grace officiating. A Military Graveside Service shall be conducted by the Bartholomew County Veteran's Color Guard. VISITATION: Will be Thursday January 31, 2008 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services. BURIAL: Will be at Garland Brook Cemetery Donations Information Memorial Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association & the American Heart Association.
