Loretta Ruby Meyer July 29, 1914 - December 31, 2007 Loretta Ruby Meyer, 93, of Columbus, died at 12:40 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2007 at Columbus Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Meyer was a member of St. John Lutheran Church at Whitecreek and enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Meyer was born in Bartholomew County, July 29, 1914, the daughter of John Henry and Sophia Schroer Beckemeyer. She married Alfred Meyer on Oct. 17, 1937. Mrs. Meyer is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfred Meyer who passed away Sept. 13, 1973; a brother, Clarence L. Beckemeyer; an infant brother, Lawrence Beckemeyer and a sister, Goldie Tiemeyer. Funeral Information VISITATION: Tuesday, January 1, 2008 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home and also Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at St. John's Lutheran Church at Whitecreek.
