Mary Jane Soderberg June 15, 1917 - November 12, 2007 Mary Jane Soderberg, 90, of Hope died at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, at Miller's Merry Manor at Hope. Mrs. Soderberg was employed at Puller Mortgage Co. until she was 82 years old. She was known for her wonderful cookies and was affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Born in Jasonville, Indiana June 15, 1917, Mrs. Soderberg was the daughter of Eli Edwin and M. Lavern Miller. She is survived by a daughter, Susan (John) Rhoades of Columbus; grandchildren, Mark (Laurel) Smith of Carmel, Jason (Jessica) Rhoades of Indianapolis and Julie (Luke) Sagur of Greensboro, N.C.; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Alyssa Smith and Annabelle Rhoades; a brother, Winston Miller of Salem, Ore.; and sisters, Helen Cretors of Indianapolis, Flo Etter of Fort Thomas, Ky., and Ann Cunningham of York, Pa. She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, Edwin Preston, Frank Webb and Stanley Soderberg; and a sister, Margaret Bowman. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Asbury United Methodist Church with the Rev. Al Styron officiating. VISITATION: Will be from noon until service time Friday at the church. Burial: Will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
