Clarence E. Walker April 05, 1927 - November 04, 2007 Clarence E. Walker, 80, of Fairlawn Drive, Columbus, Ind., died Sunday, November 4, 2007, at 8:30 a.m. at Columbus Regional Hospital. Clarence was retired in 1992 as a pattern maker from Engelking Patterns after 41 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and golf. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, stationed in Germany. Mr. Walker was born April 5, 1927, the son of Dean H. and Marguerite Hollenbeck Walker. He married Dorothy L. Brinker Sept. 24, 1948. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Linda R. (J.W.) Coombs of Columbus, Ind.; a grandchildren, Natasha (John) Smith-Brockhaus of Columbus, Ind.; a great-grandchild, August John Gus Brockhaus; a sister, Etta Faye Stith of Shelbyville, Ind.; mother-in-law, Mary V. Tretter of Columbus, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information VISITATION: Calling will be Tuesday, November 6, 2007 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. FUNERAL: The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. John McKay officiating.
