Leona Margaret Wilkinson December 23, 1927 - August 10, 2007 Leona M. Wilkinson, 79, of 18th Street, Columbus, Ind., died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at 12:30 p.m. at Silver Oaks Health Campus. Leona belonged to and was a Song Evangelist of the South West District of the Church of the Nazarene and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Columbus. Miss Wilkinson was born Dec. 23, 1927, at Newcastle, Ind., the daughter of Lloyd M. and Chrystal A. Wilkinson. Survivors include her mother, of Columbus, Ind.; a brother, Melvin Leon (Carol) Wilkinson of Madisonville, Ky.; a nephew, Daniel Wilkinson, of Hopkinsville, Ky.; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Ernest William Wilkinson. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at First Church of the Nazarene in Columbus, Ind., with Rev. Bryan Solomon, Rev. Bob Muncie and Rev. Barbara Grace officiating. VISITATION: 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. BURIAL: Garland Brook Cemetery.
