R. Scott Caldwell March 28, 1986 - April 16, 2007 Ronald Scott Caldwell, 21, of North Lincoln Village Drive died at 8:30 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2007, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Mr. Caldwell was employed by Cummins Inc. at Walesboro. He was of the Christian faith and was an avid Colts fan. Born in Columbus March 28, 1986, Mr. Caldwell was the son of Ronald Eugene and Marilyn Caldwell. He is survived by his father, of Freetown; his mother, of Columbus; a son, Robert Eugene Caldwell; his stepmother, Pam Caldwell; his companion, Ashley Leggins; sisters, Melissa, Rebecca and Barbara Caldwell, all of Columbus; a stepbrother, James Lowe of Freetown; stepsisters, Robin Lowe of Seymour and Jennifer Miller of Freetown; grandparents, James and Wilma Bays of North Vernon and William Caldwell of Greensburg; a great-grandmother, Betty Fippen; and five nieces and five nephews. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Bobby Bays and Loretta Caldwell. Funeral Information VISITATION: Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday, both at the church. FUNERAL: The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Cathedral of Praise Church of God, 550 N. National Road, with Bishop Bob Vance officiating. BURIAL: Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
