Roy G. Brammer October 08, 1927 - April 12, 2007 Roy G. Grandpa Brammer, 79, of Fawn Court died at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2007, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mr. Brammer was a Navy veteran of World War II. He had been employed by Hamilton-Cosco, retired from Cummins Inc. and later worked in maintenance at McDonalds. He was a member of Browns Corner Chapel and enjoyed golf, bowling, softball and archery. He was a loving husband and loved spending time with his family. Born in Jonesville, Va., Oct. 8, 1927, Mr. Brammer was the son of George and Axie Brammer. He married Helen Hallett Aug. 27, 1946. Survivors include his wife; a son, Roy Steven (Deborah June) Brammer of Indianapolis; a daughter, Victoria Joy Covington of Columbus; grandchildren, Jerrine D. Brooks, Darrin V. (Lynieca) Brooks, L. Kyle (Lesli) Brooks, Kyla Joy Covington, Stephanie Ann (Brian) Rawlins, Steven Andrew (Jennifer) Brammer and Stacey Anne (Brandon Smith) Brammer; great-grandchildren, Jamie Brooks, David Brooks, Audri Hayes, Samm Hayes, Raylene Guthrie, Denisa Brooks, Jake Brooks, Shakira Lewis, Destiny Lewis, Aaron Rawlins, Austin Rawlins, Alex Brammer and Evan Harrison-Brammer; and a dear friend, Sue Duncan. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday April 16, 2007 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Lehman officiating. CALLING: Will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday April 15, 2007 and from noon until service time Monday. A military graveside service. BURIAL: will be at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
