Norma J. Taylor November 12, 1928 - March 24, 2007 Norma Jean Taylor, 78, of Fairington Apartments, Columbus, Ind., died at 8:10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2007, at Columbus Health & Rehabilitation Center. Norma lived most of her life here in Bartholomew County and was a member of South Bethany Christian Church. She retired from CP Electronics and then from Boyer Machine and Tool. Mrs. Taylor was born Nov. 12, 1928 in Bartholomew County, the daughter of Jesse L. and Iva E. Cordry Butler. She married Robert L. Taylor on March 6, 1948. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1979. Survivors include sons, Mike Taylor of Columbus, Ind., Stephen (Janice) Taylor of Columbus, Ind. and Bruce Edward (Kim) Taylor of North Vernon, Ind.; grandchildren, Jeff Taylor, Tyffany Taylor, Jamie Graham, Cory Taylor and Eric Pedigo; four great-grandchildren; brothers, James Dorvel (Ruth) Butler of Rosstown, Ind. and Paul Eugene (Jan) Butler of Columbus, Ind.; and sisters, Bernice (Richard) Barkes of Columbus, Ind. and Mae (Alfred) Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse L. and Iva E. Cordry Butler; her husband, Robert L. Taylor; a brother, Charles Butler; and a sister, Irene Lykins. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Will be Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. CALLLING: Will be Tuesday, March 27, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
