Bruce H. Beisel September 10, 1928 - January 11, 2007 Bruce H. Beisel, 78, of Jonesville Road died at 3:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mr. Beisel had lived in Columbus since 1957 and retired from Cummins Engine Co. in 1991. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed trapshooting, camping and collecting coins. Born in Medina, Ohio, Sept. 10, 1928, Mr. Beisel was the son of Earl H. Beisel and Mildred Mickey Bisbee Beisel Shouse. He married Lorrine R. Todd Dec. 23, 1950. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Donna Faye (John L.) Beisel Zook of Columbus; and grandchildren, Bruce Arthur Beisel, Mickey Sue Beisel King, Johnathon Todd, Carrie Lorrine and Elizabeth Dawn Zook. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Donald Earl and Rory Andrew Beisel; and an infant great-granddaughter. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2007 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Bishop Melvin Lykins officiating. VISITATION: 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until service time Monday. BURIAL: Garland Brook Cemetery and military graveside rites will be conducted by Bartholomew County Veterans Color Guard.
