Harold W. Cheek March 13, 1934 - January 09, 2007 Harold W. Cheek, 72, of Milroy, formerly of Columbus, died at 7 a.m. at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mr. Cheek retired from Columbus City Garage, September 10, 1999 after 20 years of employment. He was born March 13, 1934 in Frankfort, Kentucky, the son of Leanord Cheek and Lorene Gile Latham. Mr. Cheek is survived by sons, Bobby (Connie) Manning of Columbus and Josh Cheek of Russell Springs, KY; daughters, Donna (Charles) Ernstes of Milroy, Darla Cheek of Brownstown, Tammy and Elizabeth Cheek both of Franklin, and Robin (Dale) Everhart of Paris Crossing; a brother Kenny Cheek of KY; a sister Sue Klein of KY; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Harold Cheek Jr.; one brother and one sister. Funeral Information VISITATION: Thursday January 11, 2007 from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home and also Friday one hour prior to the funeral service. FUNERAL: Friday January 12, 2007 at 10 a.m. at the Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Fields officiating.
