Mary Elizabeth Graffa January 19, 1909 - October 08, 2006 Mary Elizabeth Graffa, 97, of Taylor Road, died at 6:40 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006, at Four Seasons Healthcare Center. Mrs. Graffa was a very active and charitable individual all of her life. She enjoyed fishing, flowers and birds. She loved working in her yard and being with her family cooking. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. Born Jan. 19, 1909 in Bartholomew County, Mrs. Graffa was the daughter of James and Pansy Everroad. She married Albert Bud Graffa who was a local carpenter and WWI veteran. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Lora Mae Lowrey; grandchildren, Kathy (Jay) Trowbridge and Kevin (Sherri) Lowrey, both of Indiana; great-grandchildren, Nichole (Mark) Fairfield, Emily Marie Reynolds and Shawn Trowbridge, all of Indiana; great-great-grandchildren, Zoe Mae and Lily Noel Fairfield, both of Indiana; a sister-in-law, Victoria Everroad of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews, several great-neices and great-nephews, as well as several great-great-neices and great-great-nephews She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Jack D. Lowrey; and a brother, William Everroad. Funeral Information FUNERAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, October 12, 2006 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. VISITATION: 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. BURIAL: Garland Brook Cemetery.
